Offence re sale of living baby chicks, ducklings or other fowl
23(1)A person commits an offence
(a)
if the person sells or offers for sale, barters or displays living baby chicks, ducklings or other fowl that have been dyed, coloured or otherwise treated to impart to them an artificial colour, or
(b)
if the person sells or offers for sale, barters or gives away living baby chicks, ducklings or other fowl under two months of age in any quantity less than six.
23(2)A person who violates or fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence punishable under Part 2 of the
Provincial Offences Procedure Act as a category C offence.
